Find your ideal customers

Using the Target Market panel, it's easy to quickly view the demographic DNA of an area you're interested in

As a growing business, you know your regular customers well enough to notice a typical profile for your customers. Maybe they are middle class, in their 20's and drive to work. Taking the time to identify your ideal customer can provide a lot of insight when it comes to site selection, so PiinPoint makes it easy to find who is in an area.

Access your Target Market

Any information on the people within an area is accessible through the Target Market Panel. A couple variables that are important to the fast food business are already in the Target Market Panel but it's always easy to add more. Just click Add Criteria to get started.

Pick a demographic 

The demographic variable picker will open with a list of categories. You can find the variables nested under the different categories, or if you know exactly what you're looking for you can search for a specific variable.

Some demographics can be specified by a certain range such as age or income. Since you know that the fast food business appeals to people in their twenties, you can add people aged 18-30 by clicking Population, dragging the sliders to 20-30 and then clicking add.

Close the demographic picker to show that the variable was added to the Target Market panel for later use. 

Repeat this process until you have all the demographics that you are interested in listed in the panel. Now comes the fun part, visualizing that information!
