If you want a full analysis on a certain location, you can build an interactive report in PiinPoint in just a few steps.

The Situation

A burger business is looking to expand into the Kitchener/Waterloo area and needs easy-to-understand data about the population in the area, as well as the surrounding businesses. They've identified a location near a university that has some potential but they want to analyze it further.

Add in relevant demographic and POI data

Using the target market and POI panels, add all the demographics and businesses that you want to be included in the report. These will be sorted into their own dedicated tabs in the report. POIs load onto the map as they are added to the list in the POI panel.

Build a trade area around the location

This burger business knows that it only has a reach of about 3 km when it's in an area highly populated with students. Using Rings (Custom) under Build Report, specify exactly what size ring to make. Here is the resulting map:

Generate the Report

To bring this information along with its demographics into a report, click Build a Report from within the trade area's context menu. If you ever close the menu, you can access it again by clicking the trade area. Adjust what you want to analyze, set some comparison ranges and click Build a Report. The report will build in another tab in your browser for you to view!
