Reports can be easily updated even after they're created. Bring in brand new POIs, add or change the demographic criteria selected, update the comparison ranges, and change the order of your custom demographic variables.
Changing Points of Interest
Bring in a new Category or Brand that you're interested in. Click on the + button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen and select the option to "Add/Remove POIs":

The same demographic library will appear allowing you to search by keyword or drill into specific Demographic topics:
Click Add and it will be added to any tables in the Report.
What are Comparison Ranges?
PiinPoint single site reports summarize your market research based on a Trade Area, and also allow you to incorporate additional comparisons. Let's say you'd like to do some validating on whether a 2 or 2.5 mile ring will give you the minimum Daytime Population count your concepts needs. Or perhaps your client would like to report on an urban site by a 10 minute walk, but also have the industry standard's 1,3,5 kms radii to also look at.
How do you add Comparison Ranges?
Comparison Ranges that are included in a report are first established within the Create a Report modal's Optional Settings. For more tips on the Create a Report model, see here.
Edit Comparison Ranges in Reports
Once you're in a report, you can edit the ranges.
In this report below for Mahoning County, Ohio, the trade area is built based on the county boundaries and there is a 1,3,5 mile Ring Comparison based on the centroid of the county polygon.
To edit comparisons, click on the + button in the bottom left hand corner of the report and select "Add/Remove Comparisons":
Any selected comparison ranges will appear in this Add/Remove Comparisons modal (i.e. 1,2,3 mile rings) and new ranges can be added by using the tool bar in the top left:
💡 Keep in Mind
The unit of measurement for the radius will be based on your account preferences and if they're set to the Metric or Imperial system.
Once the new ranges have been saved, you'll see the new comparison show up within your report's maps and trade area benchmarks menu.
Reorder Demographic Variables
You can drag your demographic variables to reorder the placement of them within your report's tables. Simple select the dragging icon to the left of each variable name and you'll be able to put them in a new spot.
